As an Aussie, I do love the old days when train travel was special. Unfortunately these days it is more like herding cattle.
There are a number of trips being organised in the coming months including trips to Bath and Bristol on September 23. At 400 English Pounds, it is not cheap to ride on the train.
With strict dress codes, it is a chance to step back to colonial days when Britain ruled the world.
For a mere 400 pounds, you can go on a 2 hour lunch trip complete with Champagne, either in November or for an early Christmas lunch.
